THE BOOK OF ZECHARIAH

Zechariah Chapter 14

¶ Behold, the day of the LORD comes, when the spoils taken from you will be divided up among you.

For I will gather all nations in battle against Jerusalem; and the city will be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women raped; and half of the city will go out into captivity, but the rest of the people in the city will not be destroyed.

Then the LORD will go out, to fight against those nations, as he used to do in the day of battle.

And on that day his feet will stand on the mount of Olives, which is opposite Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives will split in the middle from the east to the west, and there will be a very great valley; and half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

And you will flee by my mountain valley; for this valley between the mountains will reach to Azal: yea, you will flee, as you did from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God will come, and all the saints with him.

And it will come to pass on that day, that there will not be light, or dark:

But it will be a unique day which is known only to the LORD, without day, or night: but it will come to pass, that in the evening there will be light.

¶ On that day, living water will flow from Jerusalem; half of it to the dead sea, and half of it to the sea in the west: it will be flowing in summer and in winter.

And the LORD will be king over all the earth: in that day there will be one LORD, and he will have one name.

The entire country from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem will be like the plain of Jordan: but Jerusalem will be raised up, and inhabited on its site, from Benjamin’s gate to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel to the king’s winepresses.

And men will live in it, and there will be no more curse of utter destruction; but Jerusalem will be safely inhabited.

And this will be the plague with which the LORD will smite all the people who have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh will be consumed while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will be consumed in their sockets, and their tongue will be consumed in their mouth.

And it will come to pass at that time, that the LORD will cause a great panic among them; and every one of them will seize the hand of his neighbor, and the hand of one will be raised against the hand of the other.

And Judah will also fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations round about will be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

And a similar plague will also be on horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and any other animals that are in those camps.

¶ And it will come to pass, that every one who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

And it will be, that no rain will fall on anyone who will not come up to Jerusalem from all the families of the earth, to worship the King the LORD of hosts.

And if the people of Egypt do not come up, they will have no rain; but there will be a plague, with which the LORD will smite the heathen who will not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

At that time there will be written on the bells of the horses, HOLINESS TO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’S house will be like the bowls before the altar.

Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be a holy thing to the LORD of hosts: and all those who want to sacrifice will come and take some of them, and cook meat in them: and at that time there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
