1 ¶ O sing to the LORD a new song: sing to the LORD, all the earth.

2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; proclaim his salvation from day to day.

3 Proclaim his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

6 Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 Ascribe to the LORD, O you families of the nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and power.

8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: let all the earth tremble before him.

10 ¶ Proclaim among the heathen that the LORD reigns: and the world will be established so that it can never be moved: he will judge the people righteously.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea and all that is in it roar.

12 Let the field and all that is in it be joyful: then all the trees in the woods will rejoice

13 Before the LORD: for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Psalm 97

1 ¶ The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the many coasts and islands be glad.

2 Clouds and darkness are around him: righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

3 A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies on every side.

4 His lightning lights up the world: the earth sees, and trembles.

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

7 Let all who worship carved images, and boast of their idols, be put to shame: let all gods fall on their faces before him.

8 ¶ Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD.

9 For you, LORD, are high above all the earth: you are exalted far above all gods.

10 If you love the LORD, hate evil: he who preserves the souls of his saints, will deliver them out of the hands of the wicked.

11 Light dawns for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous; and give thanks as you remember his holiness.

Psalm 98

A Psalm.

1 ¶ Sing a new song to the LORD; for he has done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, have gotten him the victory.

2 The LORD has made known his salvation: he has revealed his righteousness for all the nations to see.

3 He has remembered his mercy and his faithfulness to the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 ¶ Let all the earth make a joyful noise to the LORD: break forth and sing for joy, yes sing praises.

5 Sing to the LORD with the harp; with the lyre, and the sound of music.

6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful sound before the LORD, the King.

7 Let the sea and all that is in it roar; the world, and all those who dwell in it.

8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills rejoice together

9 Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with equity.

Psalm 99

1 ¶ The LORD reigns; let the people tremble: he is enthroned among the angels; let the earth shake.

2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is exalted high above all the peoples.

3 Let them praise your great and terrifying name; for it is holy.

4 The mighty king loves justice; and has established fairness, you do what is just and right in Jacob.

5 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6 ¶ Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

7 He spoke to them from the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the law that he gave them.

8 You answered them, O LORD our God: you were a God who punished their wrongs, but forgave them.

9 Exalt the LORD our God, bow and worship at his holy mountain; for the LORD our God is holy.
