THE BOOK OF LEVITICUS

Leviticus Chapter 2

¶ And when anyone offers a meat offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense on it:

And he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and the priest shall take out of it his handful of its flour, and its oil, with all its frankincense; and the priest shall burn it on the altar as a memorial, an offering made by fire, a sweet savor to the LORD:

And the remainder of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a most holy part of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

And if you bring a gift of bread baked in the oven as an offering, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

And if your gift is a grain offering baked on a griddle, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

You shall divide it in pieces, and pour oil on it: it is a grain offering.

And if your gift is a grain offering baked in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

And you shall bring the grain offering that is made of these things to the LORD: and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.

And the priest shall take from the grain offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it on the altar: it is an offering made by fire, for a sweet savor to the LORD.

And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a most holy part of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

¶ No grain offering, which you shall bring to the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for you shall burn no leaven, or any honey, in any offering to the LORD made by fire.

As for the gift of the firstfruits, you shall offer them to the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savor.

And every gift of your grain offering shall you season with salt; nor shall you allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be absent from your meat offering: you shall offer salt with all your offerings.

And if you offer a grain offering of your firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the grain offering of your firstfruits crushed new grain from fresh ears of grain dried by the fire.

And you shall put oil on it, and lay frankincense on it: it is a grain offering.

And the priest shall burn a portion of it, part of the crushed grain, and part of the oil, with all of its frankincense: it is an offering made by fire to the LORD.
