I believe that
there is only one God: who exists from eternity in three distinct
persons, the
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
I believe that
the Father, together with the Son and the Holy Ghost, created the world
in six
days; that He created man without sin and that sin and death entered
the world
through the transgression of Adam and Eve.
I believe that
God
the Son, through the miracle of the virgin birth, took upon Himself the
nature
of man in the person of Christ Jesus: That for our sins and for our
salvation
He suffered, was crucified, died for our sins and was buried: That He
descended
into hell, rose again from the dead on the third day, ascended into
heaven, and
there sits on the right hand of the Father from where He shall come to
judge
both the living and the dead.
I believe that the Holy Ghost is the lord and giver of life; who spoke by the prophets; who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and who together with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. I believe in the unity of all believers through faith in Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen
